Betancuria = Fuertaventura. Taxon degener zit daar en die hoort bij de Noord-Afrikaanse ultramarinus.

Hi.
Not all the ornithologists agree with the inclusion of degener in utramarinus. In fact, in the Biota project of the Canarian Government we maintain degener as a valid subspecies of Cyanistes teneriffae, endemic to Fuerteventura and Lanzarote islands; see:

Hi Rubén, in The Netherlands we follow for WP taxa the Dutch Commitee for Avian Systematics (CSNA), where the blue tit complex includes 7 species. Degener is here together with ultramarinus a species.
For taxa outside the WP we follow the IOC, where the blue tit includes 2 species (Blue and African, including taxa of Canaries and North-Africa).
