Cape Verde Warbler is an endemic species to the Cape Verde archipelago, locally common in some areas of Santiago, but it is considered endangered. This bird present also on Sao Nicolau and Fogo islands. The bird in the image was singing after playing registered song and calls in the breeding area. |

Dear Rubén: please limit yourself to max. three photos per day of rare species. This bird is OK (because it is a Cape Verde endemic), but Whimbrels and Sanderlings really are not interesting for the Dutch Birding site...

Dear Jan,
Thanks for your comments. I didn't know the limited number of images to upload per day and the fact that it's much better to put photos of rare species. I have other interesting images (of endemic species to Macaronesia and of Nearctic vagrants) which I intend to upload in a few days.
Best regards.
