Lijkt me een prima Arabian Wheatear Oenanthe lugentoides.

Hi.

I think the same, it is an adult male Arabian Weathear Oenanthe lugentoides. Checking the drawings and photos showed in the book ROBINS AND CHATS, of P. Clement & C. Rose (2015, Helm Editorial), it's clear that the bird in question should be that species, which distribution comprises a narrow, mostly coastal area of the Arabian Peninsula (including Oman).

Lijkt mij ook een Arabian , in HBW maken ze het lumpen van dit taxa wel erg bont , gewoon alles op een hoop..

Hi again.

In the recent book Birds of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. An Annotated Checklist, by D. Mitchell (2017, Lynx Edicions), O. lugentoides is considered as a full species, the same taxonomic status adopted in the monograph Robins and Chats, which I mentioned in a previous comment. The subspecies present in Oman and Eastern Yemen is O. lugentoides boscaweni.

Hi again.

It has been a pleasure to help with the identification of this bird. See this:
