Very nice to see this photo, Ruben. Was the occurence of this flock exceptional or are they a regular winter visitor?

This wader is a regular migrant and wintering species in several islands of the Canaries (mainly in the eastern ones, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, but also on Tenerife). The largest wintering flocks are seen on Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, and they can be of more than 30-40 birds, sometimes...
